TSNs Jack Armstrong offers his thoughts on the mess that is the Cavaliers, the surprising Hassan Whitehead, the emergence of Rudy Gobert, the resurgence of former Raptor Kris Humphries and the streaking Hawks. Khalil Mack Womens Jersey . 1. CAVALIERS: At 19-20, theyre a mess. Watched the game Tuesday night vs. Phoenix and their defence was poor (107 points and 52 per cent for Suns). Where is the high level play from Kyrie Irving and LeBron James (13 turnovers!)? Kevin Love looks like a man thats wondering what he got himself into. Coach David Blatt is in a tough spot. Id rent and not buy. Team looks like a rudderless ship. Better fix soon. They made two trades last week and theyre trying to be all in but dont look like a team that is - yet. 2. HASSAN WHITEHEAD (Heat): The big fella has been a pleasant surprise for Miami this month, averaging 14.6ppg and 9.8rpg while getting 3.6 blocks per game. Impressive. Has brought a terrific energy level and interior toughness to their club. In a season filled with frustration, a sudden bright spot. 3. RUDY GOBERT (Jazz): Mentioned this a while back that I loved this kids potential and, if you were a contending team, to make a run at him before he got more playing time and showed what he could do. Too late now. Would have been a steal for someone. The Jazz have finally figured out that hes a keeper. Tuesday night vs. the Warriors -- 16 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and three blocks. He can play. With Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter along with him, theyve got a sound, young frontcourt. 4. KRIS HUMPHRIES (Wizards): The former Raptor has done a nice job in DC filling in off the bench, averaging 8ppg and 6rpg. Has finally figured out what he can and cant do as a pro and brings energy and toughness each game. Has been able to carve out a good niche because the light has gone on. Good guy -- happy for him. 5. ATLANTA HAWKS: Another easy W @ Philly Tuesday night. Jeff Teague, Paul Millsap and DeMarre Carroll all get a maintenance night off (Raptors Kyle Lowry looks like a man that needs one of them -- looks like hes wearing down) and they keep rolling with 105 points and an amazing 34 assists. Their defence is equally impressive, holding the 76ers to 87 points on 40 per cent shooting while forcing 18 turnovers. This team is so well coached in every respect. Raptors will have their hands totally full on Friday night, in spite of the fact that theyre 2-0 against them this year. This club is SO much better than the team Toronto faced earlier in the season and the Raps have slipped on a number of fronts. Should be fun. Raps have to get by Philly first and considering the way theyve been playing of late, they cant look past anyone. Need DeMar De Rozan in so many ways. 12-9 without him was solid. Time to crank it up again and improve. Akiem Hicks Youth Jersey . -- C.J. Cron hit an RBI single on the first pitch he saw in the major leagues, doubled his second time up and hit a tiebreaking RBI single in the sixth inning to lead the Los Angeles Angels to a 5-3 victory over the Texas Rangers on Saturday night. Dan Hampton Bears Jersey . Infante hit a three-run homer in the sixth inning and had an RBI single in a four-run fifth against former teammate Justin Verlander, helping the Kansas City Royals beat the Tigers 11-8 Monday night. http://www.bearsfootballpro.com/Authentic_Mitchell-Trubisky_Bears_Jersey/ . - This is just the warm-up act for 18-year-old William Nylander.MINNEAPOLIS -- Adrian Peterson has been one of the most popular and marketable stars in the NFL, an approachable superstar with an inspirational comeback story that made him an endorsers dream. Now that he is facing a felony charge of child abuse for spanking his 4-year-old son with a wooden switch, the Minnesota running back is in the middle of a firestorm, and several sponsors are starting to distance themselves while the controversy envelopes a league in crisis. In the wake of the Vikings decision to allow Peterson to play while the legal process plays out in Texas, the Radisson hotel chain has suspended its relationship with the Vikings. Special Olympics Minnesota, Castrol Motor Oil and Mylan Inc. severed ties with Peterson and Nike stores in the Twin Cities have stopped selling merchandise with his name on it. And Petersons All Day Foundation, which has been devoted to helping children, put up and took down a series of statements on its website before shutting it down, including one that said it "will re-engage after Adrian, his family, and staff have reflected on how the current situation impacts the direction for Adrians philanthropy." "It is an awful situation," said Gov. Mark Dayton, who spearheaded an effort to secure $477 million in public funding for a stadium that is being built downtown. "Yes, Mr. Peterson is entitled to due process and should be innocent until proven guilty. However, he is a public figure; and his actions, as described, are a public embarrassment to the Vikings organization and the State of Minnesota. Whipping a child to the extent of visible wounds, as has been alleged, should not be tolerated in our state. Therefore, I believe the team should suspend Mr. Peterson, until the accusations of child abuse have been resolved by the criminal justice system." Vikings owners Zygi and Mark Wilf sat Peterson for the 30-7 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday while they tried to gather more information about the case. After reviewing files, speaking to Peterson, his attorney and authorities, the Wilfs decided to reinstate Peterson and he plans to play this weekend at New Orleans. Anheuser-Busch said it was "disappointed and increasingly concerned" with the negative attention brought to the league by Ray Rices assault on his wife and Petersons treatment of his son. Nike pulled Peterson jerseys from its stores at the Mall of America in Bloomington and in outlet malls in Eagan and Albertville. Nike still sells the jerseys and features Peterson on its website. Mylan said it was no longer working with Peterson to promote its EpiPen, used to treat allergic reactions. The running back had participated in several promotions to raise awareness for anaphylaxis, which he has dealt with in the past. "Mylan has ended all activities with Adrian Peterson," spokeswoman Julie KKnell said. Walter Payton Youth Jersey. "We remain committed to supporting those managing potentially life-threatening allergies and will continue our educational efforts to increase anaphylaxis awareness and preparedness." U.S. Bank, which is rumoured to be in the running for the naming rights to the teams new stadium, said it is "monitoring the situation closely." So is Shaun Hagglund, the owner of Fan HQ in suburban Minneapolis. He said he pulled Peterson apparel from the stores shelves as soon as the charge came down Friday night. "Im not making a moral stand or a judgment," Hagglund said. "Just for now, lets see what comes of this and see what stories are true and which ones are not and take it from there." Wheaties has pulled the last of the Peterson mentions from its website, but General Mills spokesman Mike Siemienas said that was because of a contractual matter and not related to the child abuse charge. Siemienas said most of the Peterson material was removed months ago as the brand shifted to a new promotion with younger and up-and-coming athletes. Other sponsors were still standing behind the Vikings and Peterson, including Verizon Wireless. "We are supportive of the NFL and, at this point, we are satisfied with our sponsorship of the Minnesota Vikings," Verizon said in a statement to The Associated Press. "In fact, for the past several years we have collaborated with the Vikings on several programs to raise awareness of the impact of domestic violence, an issue Verizon has had a long-standing commitment to." Peterson has not spoken to reporters since his arrest, but he did issue a statement through his agency on Monday that in part addressed the negative attention that his situation has received. "I never wanted to be a distraction to the Vikings organization, the Minnesota community or to my teammates," Peterson said. "I never imagined being in a position where the world is judging my parenting skills or calling me a child abuser because of the discipline I administered to my son." The Vikings cancelled a scheduled visit from six players, not including Peterson, to St. Josephs Home for Children. Seeing Peterson, a player who has worked tirelessly in the community and been the face of the franchise practically since he arrived in Minnesota in 2007, put in the public crosshairs was just as jarring to some of his teammates. "The Adrian I know does a lot of stuff for charity. Hes raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for special needs children, brings kids up here from Texas, gives them a dream and something to shoot for," fullback Jerome Felton said. "Brings kids from the inner cities, takes them to Dicks Sporting Goods and spends thousands of dollars of his own money. So thats the guy I know and Im glad to have him back on the team." ' ' '
