FIVE QUICK HOOPS THOUGHTS 1. Michael Deiter Dolphins Jersey . RAPTORS OFFENCE: Spoke on Monday about the need for better ball and player movement. Entering Wednesdays game here in Memphis the Raptors are last (30th) in the NBA in assists. On top of that the types of shots theyre getting has to improve. They sit 26th in the League in field goal percentage and 21st in three-point percentage so the efficiency is an issue. Dwane Casey and his staff are constantly hammering the points home that need to be made yet progress has been slow so far. Somehow and someway this component of their team needs growth/development. Really curious to see how this team responds to the challenge Coach Casey has put to them. After the game in Memphis, six of the next seven games are at home. They will have a better schedule and more practice time. By the end of that stretch, theyll have had more than ample time to fix the issues. Then well know what true level this team can play at. 2. COLLEGE HOOPS: Caught a little of Julian Randle (Kentucky) and a good chunk of the Duke (Jabari Parker) vs. Kansas (Andrew Wiggins) game. Great energy in these early season games. All three guys showed me flashes of significant ability and potential. In NBA cities where the possibility exists for a high draft pick in 2014, something tells me that TV ratings for games this wonderful draft class plays in will be higher than normal. Should be a fun season to watch and see the progression of an exciting group. 3. ED DAVIS (Grizzlies): Entering Wednesdays game in Memphis, hes been limited in his role (11.6 minutes per game) and his numbers (3 ppg + 3 rpg) reflect that. Considering they didnt lock him up contractually long term its pretty evident that his current employer is in a wait and see mode with him. He plays behind some talented bigs and the opportunities arent as plentiful as in other situations. Stay with it. As frustrated as Im sure he is he has to be ready every night and sooner or later will get his break. That break could potentially be with another team down the road. Jury is still out on his true ceiling as a player. 4. TREVOR ARIZA (Wizards): When I think about the development of young guards John Wall and Bradley Beal its important to have an older player who is efficient and steady. He shoots threes and plays hard. His ability to be pretty consistent and keeping the floor spread will allow his younger teammates time to develop. 5. TYLER HANSBROUGH (Raptors): Hes been exactly what I expected as the Raps third big man. He plays all out all the time and is someone you can count on every night to give you all the effort plays. Hes a terror on the offensive glass and smartly only takes shots (56 per cent) he can make. Does a terrific job drawing fouls and for a big man hes an exceptional free throw shooter (84 per cent) which is rare. He is what he is, yet I like that - you always know what youre getting vs. the roller-coaster ride that you get with other players. Reshad Jones Womens Jersey .com) - The Miami Heat will try to close out the Charlotte Bobcats Monday night in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference first round series. Mike Gesicki Youth Jersey . At quarterback, all agree that Andy Dalton has been a wonderful surprise, but to truly progress he has to play his best in the playoffs. The two losses in the wildcard rounds keep the evaluation on Dalton open -- just like it did for Peyton Manning many years ago and Matt Ryan until last year. http://www.authenticdolphinspro.com/Nat-moore-dolphins-jersey/ . The biggest collapse in franchise history was a long time ago, and he was too busy trying to make sure it didnt happen again.PHILADELPHIA -- From snipers to defencemen, the Boston Bruins are getting plenty of scoring. Jarome Iginla and Zdeno Chara each had two goals, Tuukka Rask made 25 saves and the Bruins beat the Philadelphia Flyers 6-1 Saturday. Reilly Smith and Patrice Bergeron also had goals for the Bruins. The defending Eastern Conference champions are 3-0-1 since losing five of eight, and trail only Pittsburgh in the conference. "The more you can spread around the scoring, the tougher you are to defend," Bruins coach Claude Julien said. "Its important to have. We like the fact that we are well-balanced and our scoring is spread around." Chara became the eighth Bruins player to reach double-digits in goals when he scored in the first period to make it 1-0. He also capped the scoring with another power-play goal. "I think its important we have a lot of contributions," Iginla said. "When you get in tight games, we feel we have a lot of guys who can find goals. You want a lot of different guys who can score and a lot of guys are feeling it." Claude Giroux scored a power-play goal for the slumping Flyers, whove lost four in a row. Theyre 2-5-2 in their last nine games, tumbling from second place in the division to eighth in the East. Its their worst stretch since a 1-7 start that saw coach Peter Laviolette fired three games into the season. "We need to be a consistent team and thats what we strive to be," coach Craig Berube said. "If you want to be a good team, a playoff team, a team that does something in the playoffs, you have to be consistent. You lose a few games and youre fragile. Thats what I see. But we can correct that and go in the right direction. Were a goood team. Reshad Jones Youth Jersey. Its a confidence thing for us." Steve Mason allowed four goals on 19 shots and was yanked for the second time in three starts since signing a contract extension last Saturday. The Bruins took a 1-0 lead on Charas first power-play goal in the first period. After Sean Couturier failed on a clearing attempt, David Krejci swung the puck around down low. Iginla passed it to Chara, who flipped a shot from a side angle that bounced off defenceman Braydon Coburns skate and went in. Iginla fired a slap shot from the right circle past Mason to make it 2-0 just 17 seconds before the first intermission. A turnover by defenceman Nicklas Grossmann led to Bostons third goal. Smith stepped around Grossmann and swiped at the puck, which hit the post, hit Mason and went in. "Teams cant just rely on shutting down one line when you have a lot of guys scoring," Smith said. "It stifles the defence and changes the game." Rask kept it 3-0 with his toughest save, a sliding glove stab going right to left to rob Jakub Voracek on a one-timer. Bergeron made it 4-0 minutes later, sending Mason to the bench. Giroux and Iginla traded power-play goals in the third. "We have to get better," Giroux said. "Were going away from how we want to be as a team and how we were winning games." NOTES: Rask earned his career-high 23rd win. ... Iginlas first goal was his first since Jan. 2, snapping an eight-game drought. ... Flyers D Andrej Meszaros was a healthy scratch despite his recent offensive production. RW Steve Downie also was benched. ... The Bruins are 43-35-12 in Philadelphia. Theyre the only team with a winning record on the road vs. the Flyers. ' ' '
